Re: probiotics/leaky gut

I feel almost obliged to help you.
Who says candida open holes to the intestinal lining ??
Candida in its fungal form penetrates the ephitelium and create inflammation. The intestinal lining is formed by a perfect cellular integrity. Cells are joined together forming an semi-microscopy permiable barrier. When candida or any pathogenic intruder invade those cells, inflammation is present. If you get inflammation, cells separate allowing smalls gaps between them. Those are the holes that create Leaky Gut. It isn't that candida acts like a drill opening holes. Take Kefir, that is a good option.
Oral pharmaceutical probiotics only offer TEMPORARY benefits to the gut. One you stop them, those benefits are gone. They don't colonize the gut permanently. Have you ever taken a CDSA to see how you flora is?? This could be the first step before to try anything to colonize the gut with new bacterias.
