Re: Indoor Device to Keep Track of Power Usage

Where I'm living is in a remote rural area, and we don't get a choice of provider, there is only one. They are barely competent enough to even read the meters that we currently have, and certainly don't offer anything like the service that you have.

At least we do get our power from renewable sources, and not a coal fired station. It is expensive to have electricity provided here, much better to be off the grid and simply generate your own, if you are able. (I imagine that would be difficult in an apartment).

A lot of energy producing technology, is for people who have their own home. I wonder if there is any technology that is more portable, or that could be used in an apartment, without having to rewire the place?

Any ideas?
