Re: Herpes simplex virus and other herpes viruses

Could you tell the difference between them?

There are 8 different human herpes viruses. And something like 20 in the animal kingdom.  Human herpes viruses are:

Herpes simplex 1 responsible for oral herpes.

Herpes simplex 2 responsible for genital herpes.

Human herpes virus 3 (varicella zoster) responsible for chicken pox and shingles.

Human herpes virus 4 (Epstein Barre virus)  responsible for mononucleosis, various autoimmune  disorders, lymphomas and nasopharyngeal cancer.

Human herpes virus 5 (cytomegalovirus) normally just causes mild flu-like symptoms with initial infection.  In AIDS patients though it is known to cause retinitis.

Human herpes virus 6 can cause various lymphomas, multiple sclerosis and lead to AIDS (HHV6 variant A).

Human herpes virus 7 can cause a variety of symptoms and can cause viral hepatitis.

Human herpes virus 8 can cause lymphoma and is responsible for a cancer known as Kaposi's sarcoma.  There is also a bacterial form of Kaposi's sarcoma.

I have herpes simplex virus although it has been a long time in inactivity. Can it affect my hep C negatively?

No, but an outbreak can indicate a suppression of the immune system, which means an infective hepatitis can become worse as the immune system is down.

Did it contribute for my having contracted the hep c virus?

Actually there is no standard way to test for and confirm the presence of hepatitis viruses.

What more can you say about it? Is there a way to get rid of it?

Ozone would be my first choice.  Rife units should also work.  And I have heard chaparral is effective in destroying herpes viruses.  For outbreaks to suppress the virus lysine orally or topically.
