So, were you able to cut it with the spoon or not?
Cause, if you were able, then stones were definitively not calcified.
Calcified stones are harder then metal (stainless steel). You can scratch the steel with calcified stones.
You can not cut it with the spoon, you can not cut it with the knife, you can only crush them with hammer. Calcified stones are STONES!
Were your stones as hard, or were they more like candle wax?
There is also another kind of gallstones,
Gallstones that contain a lot of protein. Those stones can be as hard as human bones, but not as hard as calcified stones.
It is important to distinguish between different types of stones, cause we can not called "calcified" every stone that gives resistance to the spoon.
You are 100% sure that your stone is calcified when you try to cut it with the knife, but you are unable to scratch the surface without destroying the knife.
