grz- l-form bacteria arise from normal bacteria that are treated with Antibiotics . they leave their cell wall behind and become invisible to the immune system. At this this stage they form an impenetrable biofilm, and cannot be touched by drugs or the immune system. no laughing matter by any stretch of the imagination. I know, because I have dealt with it personally. at this stages, the barbarians have breached the gate. in traditional chinese medicine we are taught not to breach the biofilm, the toxins and resulting infection could be deadly. so the body creates a homeostasis that it cannot undo.

so, really not necessary to identify one "cause", but to ignore what l-form bacteria are, and what they do, is not doing anyone any favors. same point I made with Chris, what is behind the tendency (edit) to write off l-form bacteria as a non-issue? anyone who has had lyme or chrohns would probably tell you, no simple solutions here.
