Re: Great article on the myth of liver flushing
I phoned my sister to make sure about the facts.
It was a ultra sound before and after. Her doctor verified it was
Gallstones - her doctor is well renowed and respected in the medical community - you may know her Dr. Cynthia Stuart and she lives and works in So. California. She is not the least bit homopathical or natural.
The stone I saw (I went with her to the doctor that day) was dark green and tan, and it floated, and was one of about a dozen of various sizes. She fished a couple out of the toilet and took them to her doctor - she didn't know how hard it was - it looked harder then sqishey to me and it was not opaque in the least. It was shaped sort of like an egg with rounded uneven edges. She aggrees with you that some are from the combination of the oil and lemon. When I flushed, the stones or whatever they were, were all different colors, different every time. I had a lot of tan ones and a few like my sister had - not as big.
The flush we used is different than most people use. We did not use
Epsom Salts and less oil (1/4 cup each) and small bottle of malic acid, and 3 or 4 days of drinking apple juice.
Which reminds me about diet... My sister was and had been on a 80% raw and 20% cooked diet. All very healthy things - no white flour,
Sugar or white rice... lots of fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds. etc. My sister never had a gall bladder attack again, She had about a dozen extremely painful attacks before she realized what they were... she had never had any. She had been juice fasting and forgetting to end them with a flush.
I didn't bring this up to argue but was curious how it could be explained. I know you don't believe in flushes... I value and hold your opinion in the highest regard, and I know you don't want people to do something that will harm them.
