Re: Great article on the myth of liver flushing

The author of this artical used the report I wrote about about my sister avoiding surgery... I don't do liver flushes anymore instead use bitters... but I can't convince my sister bitters are better. How do you explain her circumstances?

In her case the doc DID give her a ct scan before (it showed the stones) and after (the stones were gone) and her horrid painful attacks stopped after she passed the stones. Maybe because the stones were in her galllbladder not her liver. (Actually it was two or three stones... orginally I thought she had only one) She still believes in liver flushes...

It is hard to say without more details such as what she was taking, diet, etc..  But for starters CT scans are not effective for diagnosing gallstones.  And considering the amount of radiation they give off with even one I think the doctor is a quack for giving her one, let alone two instead of doing the more accurate and non-radiation ultrasound.
