Re: Blood clots and water fasting- Please, answer

I understand your fears and concerns actualhealth concerning this possible dislodgement of blood clots, but fasting will usually increase "fibrinolysis" (the process wherein a fibrin clot, the product of coagulation, is broken down) and which accounts for the dramatic improvement seen when patients suffering from thrombophlebitis fast on water only.

In fact there should be far less fear of thrombi while fasting than while eating.
