Re: I want to overcome this vaginal smell!!
Wow, so I was just quickly scanning the other topics and came across one which asked if a man not being circumsized had anything to do with increasing the risk of contracting BV during intercourse, and I'm now suspicious of the same thing, because I married my husband when I was 20 and that same year, after having unprotected sex with him, I started exhibiting the symptoms of BV and he's not circumsized.
Wouldn't it be interesting if the percentage of men who are not circumsized is close to the percentage of women who have BV?
Regardless of whether or not this is the cause, I'm still desperate to find out how to FIX the problem now that I have it. Searching the internet is like walking through a mine field ranging from pessimistic medical websites which say that basically nothing can be done but "manage" the symptoms and bogus "cure" websites which claim to have found THE cure but you have to buy their book to find out what it is, etc etc. I have no idea what is true and ALL that I'm after is feeling (and smelling) better and not losing my relationship over this stupid body issue. So any help any of you can offer me would be greatly, greatly appreciated!
