Likewise, you are unable to validate
WHICH of the two wells was plugged.

The proof the oil has not stopped
is from the oil coming ashore and
from the fact that BP is still spraying
with dispersants, etc. Time will tell
if your guess is any better than mine.
God knows I wish it were. I have my
suspicions and certainly, am not alone
in raising them...

Perhaps you have or have not read
these articles, but they raise red
flags to me and suppose that BP has
an agenda and motivation to cover-up
the read status of their two wells
and the condition of the sea floor.
