Hi sweetpea!I've been lucky so far in that I appear to have recovered pretty well compared to a lot of the other poor Mirena victims whose stories I've read.
This amazes me as I had such an extreme reaction to the coil- dozens of weird side effects for almost three years, extreme fatigue and three Grand Mal seizures. I honestly believed I was dying from an incurable disease that numerous hospital tests/ docs/neurologists had failed to detect.My periods are still fairly erratic and I'm struggling to shift the weight that I gained.But that could be down to my age (47).Apart from that I'm pretty much back to normal.I've been drinking loads of water,geently excercising regularly and taking a multi-vitamin that contains magnesium and potassium which a fellow Mirena sufferer recommended.
