For 1 1/2 years I've woken up almost every morning with uncomfortable stomach aches, sometimes which wake me up in the middle of the night. Tried Antibiotics , anti- parasite medications, raw food diet (8 days), bio-feedback therapy, and finally learned of the benefits of fasting.
This is my first fast for more than 1 day and I'm on day 4. I am planning on 1 more day of Water Fasting and then doing just juices for 7-10 days.
Because of my restricted diet trying to limit the stomach aches, I was already a little under weight (5'8 and 128) before starting the fast. Any advice? Is 5 days Water Fasting enough to allow healing to take place? Should I stick with just veggie juice or is mixing in some fruit juice okay too?
