Re: Questions on Ivermectin, Vermox and B. Hominis
I thought I'd respond here in case anyone else was wondering why I can't do Albenza. It's not scattering that's a problem. I don't think any of the meds cause scattering.
I can't do Albenza because my MRI from 2 years ago, has some very strange looking 'lesions' and there is a slight possibility that it could be pork tape worm, neurocysticercosis. When the Albenza kills the cycts in the brain, it can cause swelling. I can't take the chance until I see a neuologist and get a new MRI. Being in Canada, though, who knows how long that's going to take! My GP sent a referral a month and a half ago and they haven't even been in touch to make an appointment for me yet! Unreal!
Pet - Decided to stop the Iver after 10 days of feeling somewhat better and have gone on 250mg Vermox twice a day...with LOTS of fat! No I didn't give my liver a rest like you suggested. I just can't stand these things! and even if my liver takes a bit of a beating, it will get better.
