Questions on Ivermectin, Vermox and B. Hominis
Ivermectin for 8 days. The pinworms don't seem to notice except on my vag when I use the Iver cream topically. It kills them almost on contact and so, I had great hopes that taking it orally would work.
I'm not coughing quite as much as before but when I do, it drains most of my energy. My energy level is up and down, some days feeling stronger than I have in 2 years. Other days just better than I was before taking the Iver.
I will be taking Vermox soon but wondering if it might be a good idea to keep on the Iver while taking Vermox, or is that a definite no no? My thought is that taking the 2 meds together, which work in different ways at the same time just might work. Hit 'em on from both sides.
It's unfortunate that Linenup and I got our messages crossed and I didn't do the MM testing before I started the Iver but I just couldn't wait any longer. It's been 2 weeks since I took in my stool samples and a week and a half for the pinworm samples and still waiting for the results.
The lab did find B. Hominis on my first stool sample but my idjut GP just told me that everyone has it and not to worry about it. I haven't had much time to research it but thought I'd pop in a question about it. Is it possible that B. Hominis can change my body chemistry to be a more hospitable environment for other parasites?
My GP will at least order the tests that I request and I'd appreciate any suggestions for specific tests that may be wise to have done. He did give me a requisition for ELISA for Strongyloides but that was after 2 days on Iver, so I haven't bothered to have it done.
Any suggestions?
