My problems with alcohol
When I was a young adult I would sometimes drink too much at parties but did not crave alcohol. As I got older I developed sensitivities to chemicals and started to drink more - after work and on weekends and had a craving for wine or beer. I read a book by a physician who was treating people with chemical sensitivities with a small amount of ethanol. One woman couldn't stand exhaust fumes and had to ride a bus to work, a few drops of diluted ethanol under her tongue before the bus ride kept her form being too ill to work when she arrived. I realized that I had been using alcohol to deal with my problems so was able to reduce the drinking and would only have one beer a day or sometimes dilute the beer with water. I still had a mild craving, an urge to drink more but was usually able to resist drinking too much. More than 10 years later I was having more health problems which the Drs could not help me with so decided to do some alternative health support programs from
Hulda Clark , PhD, ND books. I did the
parasite killing program and after a few days I stopped craving alcohol and just stopped using any alcoholic beverages. About 10 years later I had a glass of wine and the craving came back but it was much milder and I had no difficulty not drinking. A few years later I was diagnosed with gluten sensitivity (Celiac Disease) which I think led both to the chemical sensitivities and the craving for alcohol. One of Clark's books described the case of a woman who's husband was an alcoholic. She put the
parasites killing herbs in his food and soon he stopped drinking.
