Re: Iodine for Candida?

Table salt with Iodine is ablsolutely NOT a good source of iodine. It isn't iodine, it is iodide, and the amounts are so insignifigant and vary from brand to brand or even from batch to batch, it is only enough to prevent goiter. The bare bare minimum. Anybody on Curezone or thinking holistically should be using Sea Salt or something besides that processed table salt anyway!

The poster that you mentioned also thinks Sea Salt is poison or contaminated..something to that extent.

Anyway, check this out http://www.alternativehealth.co.nz/diseases/candida.htm

I couldn't find a better link but I have posted it before too long ago to find...

Lugol's is great for candida issues but SSKI is even better! I don't even need to think about candida anymore after taking that.

I actually haven't gone off Iodine in 3 years or more, so maybe it is the combo but SSKI really did the trick.

Good luck!
