Re: Any luck with armour thyroid?

Hi! From everything that I've read, you can have thyroid problems if you have a hormonal imbalance or if you have had an autoimmune disease.

For me the trigger was estrogen dominance. When I went on t100's (like armour thyroid up here in Canada) I gained 10 lbs. When my hormones didn't straighten out after correcting my liver and adrenals I went on progesterone cream and gained another 10 lbs.

The last few visits to my herbologist suggested that the thyroid supplement is not working as she asked me if I quit taking it(I hadn't). So she put me on something stronger.

So change so far even though I started exercising 6 hours/week. I've lost 1 - 1.5 inches, but 0 lbs.

Have an appointment booked with someone else in May for a 2nd opinion. But so far alternative treatment has not worked for me; and conventional medicine does not recognise I have a thyroid problem as I fall within their "normal" range.
