Re: Candida and Master Cleanse (maple syrup question)
I wouldn't rule out trying your test. I have treated myself for candida for about 14 years now. I don't eliminate all sugars, but I do try to keep them low. It all depends on you, and how bad off you are - if the candida is severe, then you might want to wait till you have limited your sugars (carbs) rigidly for a while. I just did a strict low
Sugar diet for about 8 months ( I used something similar to a south beach diet, or atkins), and then slowly added more carbs back into my diet, now I'm seeing a few of the old symptoms, so I'm reducing the sugars and carbs again. It really depends on your body and how YOU react. I've tried many different cleanses, antifungals, etc, and if I didn't seem to respond well to it, I just stopped. The cleanse that worked best for me was sold by Drs. Choice Naturally, and called Paramax 1 and 2 (sold by Advanced Naturals). I've never had my stool tested, and this product is sold as a
parasite cleanse, so I'm guessing it worked best for my situation because I may have had both yeast and bacterial overgrowths. It is nice if you can afford to have the testing done. It helps you focus in on the type of treatments that will work best for your specific situation.
