Thanks for your openness about what you believe. It is interesting to hear others' faiths and spirituality.

Yes, the Bible is metaphorical. But I also know it to be real and God's divinely inspired word. I have heard that the Bible is God's living word. It's amazing how you can read something one time - 5 years later read the same verse and you always pick up something different in the message (or something is revealed to you).

We are all sons and daughters of God. I believe that also. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ as believers. It's amazing that Jesus revealed this to us in His suffering on the cross and then his ascension to heaven. We share in the same inheritance one day in heaven as He represents us so that we are seen in the likeness of Christ.

One day, in the blink of an eye, we will all know and have an understanding of all things since the creation of time. I like to imagine going over my "top 10 list" with God. Ha! But I don't think we'll even need to have questions anymore.

"He went to prepare a place for us in heaven...."
