EXACTLY - you have it. What does Jesus have to do with God? I think you have opened up the question most of us have asked at sometime or will sometime in our lives.

My faith, what I believe, based on the Bible, is that Jesus is God's Son. God loved us so much that he sent His only begotten Son to save us all. You can relate this to the Old Testament where Abraham was asked by God to sacrifice his son. When he laid his son on the pit to sacrifice him and angel said "wait". And there was a lamb to serve as the offering. Jesus is the lamb. No sacrifice would ever do except for Jesus. People were taught ritual sacrificing in order to please God. Only we can never be good enough to please God. He had to send Jesus in order to teach us how to be. And Jesus bore the sacrifice.

Jesus us like a lawyer for us. He defends us to His father and we are all seen in the likeness of Christ once we have accepted Him into our Hearts.

"If you call upon the name of Jesus, you shall be saved".

Anyway, this is what I believe.
