Re: Vitamin B3 Could Treat Drug Resistant Fungal Infections

Hmmm..

I remember everyone at an Acne forum jumping aboard the Niacin train. Some people had great success and seemed to have gotten rid of their Acne (which was most likely due to candida). I have tried 3 different version of B3/Niacin myself. I have taken Nicotinamide, Inositol Hexaniacinate, and the standard "flush" Niacin.

Most people saw results from Inositol Hexaniacinate. It seems to be the best because I believe it is just bound to inositol, which should make it much more beneficial.

I stopped using any form of Niacin after I read about it's effect on the metabolism of one's body. I have already been underweight, so that was it for me. The flush the regular Niacin gave me was something I found really nice after a while though...

I may be giving it another try, but in this case (candida), I wonder what the best form would be to take..
