He said my problems could be Thyroid related since I was right on the edge of having Thyroid issues three years ago. I don't know how that explains the muscle issues I'm having.
Only if your doctor is thinking hyperthyroidism. Hypothyroidism can increase inflammation, which may affect the muscles but would not cause the other symptoms.
Anyway, I should get the results back next week. I'll keep you posted.
Also, thanks for the help! I really appreciate it. I think you may have nailed it with the Hypercalcemia. I've been putting off going in to get tested for a long time.
Lastly, they are doing a Serum Cortisol test. Will that tell me if my Adrenals are shot?
No necessarily. Cortisol levels fluctuate greatly. So the test is not very accurate. It is like testing for blood pressure, blood sugar, other hormones, cholesterol, etc. They all fluctuate so much that it really requires a series of tests on different days to really get a somewhat accurate picture.
