Re: Colonic Necessary after a Liver Flush?

Hi Midge,

I don't know of any different types of colonics. I mean there are different brands of machine, but as far as I know, the procedure is the same. To find the place, I just did a search on google for colonic in my hometown, found one place very close, and called.... i do it on the 2nd or 3rd day after a flush - usually flush on a sat. night and have a colonic mon or tues. the whole thing lasts for less than an hour, its just a process of - yuck - them connecting the tube - and then doing 'fills' of water - sending water into the colon, and the water releases out. then they fill again, then releases again, till you've had enough. you can see the gunk that comes out as it passes through the machine....

i don't have a 'colema' board? (not sure if i'm saying that right). and i don't do enemas... so i just do the one colonic per flush.

p.s. i have united healthcare, and they cover the colonic. if they do, i'll bet many others do. in case you get one, let me know and i'll pass on the procedure and diagnosis codes. i'm not absolutely certain about it because they haven't paid up yet, i've just sent in the claim. but, i did verify it in advance with the ins. company.
