psa

I'm 56 and never experienced any prostate nor kidneys problems... (I had other issues)... last sunday I experienced difficulty urinating so I went to my GP and made a blood test... yesterday I got the results and my PSA is 37.76... The GP went wild with the readings... next week I'll see the urologist to start with other tests... I talked to a coupleof friends who had operatiosns about 2 months ago, and both are doing very well... they had their PSA readings about 7....

I understand this Antigen test says a lot about cancer cells...

Any suggestions?.. anybody else had readings this high??
