Hi healingjourney,
I don’t know if I have an answer for you. I really know little about lipomas, but have a couple of ‘thoughts’. First I have a brief description I found in a google search:
What is a lipoma?
A lipoma is a growth of fat cells in a thin, fibrous capsule usually found just below the skin. Lipomas are found most often on the torso, neck, upper thighs, upper arms, and armpits, but they can occur almost anywhere in the body. One or more lipomas may be present at the same time. Lipomas are the most common noncancerous soft tissue growth.
What causes a lipoma?
The cause of lipomas is not completely understood, but the tendency to develop them is inherited. A minor injury may trigger the growth. Being overweight does not cause lipomas.
What are the symptoms of a lipoma?
Lipomas usually:
Are small [0.4 in to 1.2 in] and felt just under the skin.
Are movable and have a soft, rubbery consistency.
Do not cause pain.
Remain the same size over years or grow very slowly.
My thoughts for some possible helps for this condition:
Cleansing the bowel, blood/lymph and liver is always helpful.
Increasing/improving circulation to the area with bodywork/massage and herbs such as cayenne. Also, castor oil packs??? Deep tissue/muscle/joint repair oil???
This sentence: A minor injury may trigger the growth. may be important in supporting my thoughts about circulation and massage being of benefit. If an injury triggered the growth, the growth may be your body’s way of responding to injury just under the skin or tissue damage.
Just my thoughts... Hopefully, someone who has experience with lipoma will KNOW and share their experiences.
I can’t answer your question about a link between lipomas and fibroids... sorry. That would be something you may want to research.
Hoping you find an answer and that it is shared here so we all can learn about the power of natural healing.
