Handy tip for dissolving epsom salts
Sometimes
Epsom Salts don`t dissolve well in water. I`ve discovered a solution.
In the morning of flush day, measure out 4 tablespoons of
Epsom Salts and add to 3 8-ounce glasses (around 750 ml) of water in a pot. Heat the water, while stirring. All the
Epsom Salts will dissolve into the water. It will dissolve faster (and be better mixed) if you stir. You don`t need to heat it to a boiling point.
Cover the pot with a lid, and make sure anyone else in the house/apartment knows what this stuff is so they don`t throw it out. Allow the epsom salts to cool to room temperature during the day. If you want, you could put it in the fridge a couple of hours before drinking it. The taste is reduced a little if the water is cold. Mind you, Moritz warns against eating or drinking very cold food or drink, but it`s up to you.
I always measure the epsom salts solution into the 4 glasses before starting, so there is an equal amount in each glass. You can always cover the glasses with a pot lid to keep stuff from falling in.

Once the epsom salts dissolve, they will not precipitate back into crystalized form.
