100% Overhaul
I just finished reading the EFT Manual. I must admit that I am intrigued by what Mr. Craig has written but am somewhat skeptical, too.
My skepticism stems from the stated need to create specific affirmations for the setup. In the manual, Mr. Craig uses the metaphor of the TV repairman that is unable to diagnose the cause of the problem with your television yet is still able to repair the unit:
Here's the answer: In order to fix your TV…he overhauls the whole thing–just as an auto mechanic might overhaul an entire engine. He replaces every electronic gizmo in sight….the picture tube, the resistors, all the wires, every capacitor, etc. Is he overdoing it a bit? Oh sure!. But the important question is, "Is he likely to fix the problem?" Oh sure again! In fact, since he is replacing everything, his odds approach 100%. EFT Manual page 19
If tapping/rubbing/striking the energy meridians is the key to removing the blockage what difference does it make if I focus on my spider phobia or my fear of public speaking? Mr. Craig goes further when discussing The Generalization Effect:
For example, someone who has 100 traumatic memories of being abused usually finds that after using EFT…they all vanish after neutralizing only 5 or 10 of them. EFT Manual page 30
Thanks for reading. I'm interested in knowing what the others in this community think.
