hashimoto's Disease

Hi, I was wondering if anybody can tell me if you can have hashimoto's disease and not have high antibodies. I have all the symptoms of hashimoto. had a sonogram in Sept. 09 that shows a few nodules, just had another sonogram & now I have a groiter & more nodules. I have a fine needle aspiration schedule.
All of my labs have been coming back in range with no high antibodies.
I think I am having an Thyroiditis Atttack. I have alot of anxiety, I can feel my thyroid getting swollen, I have a very dry mouth and eyes & I cannot sleep.
My MD will not treat because all test are in range, but I know with my symptoms I have something going on. Everything that I have read seems to say that I have hashimotos but I am not showing any antibodies.
Your opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thank You
