Re: albendazole

I took it for quite a few weeks about 12 weeks in all and ceased approx 3 weeks ago. I took a capful using the Valbezen top a.m. and p.m.; and then the last two weeks of treatment I took a girls size "mouthful" a.m. and p.m. and took it with a fatty meal, a croissant or bread with butter on top for example. There were no noticeable symptoms except in the last week I started to have some hair fall. I have lost approximately 1/10 (at absolute most) of my hair and a bunch of parasites, and noone can notice the hair fall, except myself, so it wasn't all that alarming.

During treatment I had liver testing which came back normal. If you have any kidney or liver impairment, do a bit more research on this before you commence, and/or watch your liver and have it tested during treatment if you treat yourself over a protracted period. I would only recommend protracted treatment for older folks like myself who are chocoblock full of parasites.

Some recommend pairing it up with prazi for very resistant parasites so you may want to look this up also.
