Starting Fast Again
Hi Powerway,
I'm sorry to hear the your fast has ended but I understand how challenging a fast is fiscally & mentally when you have a over growth of bacteria/yeast in your body. The bacteria/yeast inside of us at times can cause us to get severe cravings. I know about those food fixes it's so awful. Now I understand why it so hard for people to kick drugs & alcohol but some people sucessfully do it. The funny thing about us is we have this terrible addiction to food and most people will become over weight but we're on the thin side. I was thinking maybe that's because our digestion is bad & we are not absorping the nutrients our body needs from the food.
I read this paragraph from another post & it makes alot sense to me.
(Thin or underweight people are usually this way thru no choice of their own: they may "eat like horses" and still remain thin. This means the digestive and assimilative capacities are impaired, and therefore nutrient reserves are minimal or depleted.)
When your body is lacking minerals, amino acids & vitamins it can cause cravings & imbalances in your body which then can let the bacteria/yeast get out of control. Our bodies need to be nourished or else it can not maintain optimal health.
Candida/yeast, it metabolizes sugars and converts them to toxic alcohols called aldehydes. Many of the symptoms of Candida are produced by this toxic alcohol, the toxic proteins called antigens, mycotoxins (fungal toxins), and the neurological toxins (neurotoxins) that the Candida produces. When Candida is fed sugars, it not only strengthens its grip on you but it produces more of these toxins.
I decided I'm going to start my fast on sunday/June 20th. The first day I may drink only water & veggie juice fast for the rest of the 30 days. I'll have to see how I'm feeling. I'm going to try to take it one day at a time.
Write me back & let me know how your doing & when your starting your fast again. I'll post tomorrow again to let you know how the fast is going.
I'm tired of not feeling good.
