It is easy to make small talk with anyone for me. It is actually a big part of my job. Which is why it is important to maintain the impression that I am normal.

The problem with talking to her is that I know that there is no chance of it going anywhere, but to continue with speaking to her would make my feelings grow stonger. At the moment, it is only a curious attraction. The less I talk to her, the less I learn about her, the better the chance I can escape without adding more to the pain.
