Re: birth control, cholesterol, and gallbladder
Hi Marli
Sorry to hear about your elevated cholesterol levels and
Acne problems.
First,
Acne is most likely caused by Candida yeast infection (it should be retained in the gut and held in check by friendly bacteria), but if it gets past the gut wall all manner of ill health problems arise (
Acne being the least of them). Candida thrives in an acid pH environment, so you can effectively combat the yeast by driving your body to the alkaine side. Next yeast loves sugar, in most folks this comes from sugar, sugary foods and drinks, but also carbohydrates and alcohol (yes a form of carbohydrate).
Avoiding acid foods and all
Sugar sources leads to a vegetarian diet, heavy duty vegetables and their juices, good balance of omega 3 and 6 oils, olive oil for cooking, limited meat (acid) and if you are serious about beating the yeast NO carbohydrates. Check out the book 'the pH miricle' by Robert Young on Amazon for details.
High cholesterol can happen for a number of reasons, but choked up Liver with blocked / partly block liver ducts is a real possibility. Plenty of folks have done before and after
Liver Flush blood cholesterol tests and found a useful step down reduction.
Liver Flush definietely worth a go.
Finally, it might be an idea to research dietary fats, (check out book 'fats that heal, fats that kill' by Udo Erasmus, then you can then be properly directed towards 'good' fats away from 'bad' fats, and get some balance back into your diet (low fat diets definitely NOT good).
Hope this helps
