I just wanted to add to what Uny said about the Lobelia tincture.  I can and do take two droppersful each time I take it with no problem whatsoever and it doesn't make me sleepy at all.

My husband and I both take tinctures on a daily basis but I take many different kinds so to keep him from having to hunt his tincture out of all my bottles he keeps his on the far left of the kitchen counter and mine are on the far right.  He now takes two tinctures but at the time he was only taking the Echinacea tincture every single night, 8 droppersful.  

One night he told me his Echinacea bottle was empty and he needed more so I pressed some more and put it in his bottle but I set his bottle with mine by accident. During the next day I had my bottle of Lobelia in my hand when the phone rang or something and I set it down on his side of the counter, never thinking about it again.  

So that night he comes into the kitchen to take his nightly Echinacea, he puts 8 droppersful in a shot glass, adds a splash of water and gulps it down, never looking at the label because he KNOWS that it is HIS Echinacea because it was sitting on HIS side of the counter!  As soon as he took it he lets out this huge groan and says something like what did you do to my Echinacea?  As soon as I heard the groan I knew what had happened lol.  He took 8 droppersful of Lobelia!  At first I was thinking OMG he's gonna spew!  But then I knew that it wouldn't hurt him, the worst it could do is make him throw up.  I had to laugh at him because his expression over the taste was horrifying as I was explaining to him that he might throw up.  He took it like a champ but didn't appreciate my laughing at him lololol!

It turns out that it didn't make him throw up and that was 8 whole droppersful.  So yes, the dosage varies widely with Lobelia from person to person.  I've never taken more than 2 droppersful at a time but I think my husband might hold the record of the highest dosage of Lobelia without upchucking, at least that I've heard lol.

I learned my lesson from that little episode, I'm now very careful about setting my bottles on his side of the counter but he also learned to always look at the label before taking it lol.
