Hey Mighty nice to hear from you.. thanks I'm pretty excited about setting a new self record of days.. hope your fasting is going well.
"I am curious, what exactly did it do for you? Anything besides the "at peace/relaxed" benefit? I've been doing it too. I know it's good but i'm not sure what obvious benefits i have received. It's hard to know what i would have felt like without it."
-I'm not sure physically that it did any more than make me sweat and warm me up. Which was nice, but I think it was more mentally.. I "had" something to do and it energized me mentally just to say to myself "Well I'm gonna do this today.. and afterwards I'm gonna go and do this.. then I'll take a nap." so on.. yeah didn't shower till after the nap haha. I didn't get the "at peace/relaxed" till later in the day... so it could have been a combination of things.
"Can you summarize what you have learned? What juices do you expect to be drinking?"
-I've pretty much have a bunch of recipes in my head.. or at least what I think I would like. And seeing, visually that these people are as healthy as they are/look pretty much at least 90% raw is very new thing to me. I'm in Texas aka BBQ Country :) I think I would probably absorb more information if I read on the other forums ie., Natural Hygiene, etc., but I find that actually makes me hungry when I read about food rather than watching it. (Esp. that kimchee one Chiron!) Two of the youtube channels that I have been watching the most are liferegenerator and RawRadiantHealth. Both have completely different ways of how they deliver their stuff, but as its all new to me and I have somehow been sucked into it I've really enjoyed both and would recommend watching at least a few of each of their videos. Also they don't always do food videos.. sometimes they just talk and its pretty cool. Also, I'll still do some eggs and salmon when I get the chance :)
-As far as what juices I'm gonna do.. for the first few days(3) I'm gonna try and go back and forth between diluted orange and watermelon. Its actually good that you asked because I don't even really know if I should do solids or do juicing.. I want to do juices but not sure if I should put too much of a mixture of different fruits and vegetables.. read something about keeping it mono food? Definitely gonna try and do cucumbers.. I've had this love for cucumbers ever since my first fast.. never really liked them before. Anyways, there is one juice I'm really wanting to make though and its
Lemon Ginger Blast from the liferegenerator channel
— 2 Apples
— 1-3 in. piece Ginger
— 1 Lemon (UNpeeled if organic; peeled if not organic)
— 1 bunch Cilantro
— 1 bunch Parsley
— 1 bunch Arugula
— 3 Habaneros
— 1 Cucumber
Not sure if the habaneros are necessary(probably are) but will most likely not try this for another week at least unless informed its ok otherwise because of the lemon and the habaneros. Also, will try in the future to make use of all the aloe I have and throw a chunk in with some orange juice. RawRadiantHealth did a video on that. I sound like an infomercial don't I LOL?
Thanks for the tip with the juicer.. gonna try that right after this. It never even crossed my mind to turn it on.. there goes all that mental clarity from fasting! Ha! Thanks again Mighty!
