Be sure that your Dr tests you for gluten sensitivity as these are common symptoms and a person can develop problems anytime in their life. There are several million people in the US with undiagnosed gluten sensitivity so it is very common but some doctors have not kept current with research about gluten so sometimes don't think to order the tests. Also yeast/Candida problems come on this way especially if you have taken Antibiotics recently.

Since you work with the aged who may have sanitation issues you may have picked up toxin producing enteric bacteria - they are not always pathogens but the toxins they produce can unbalance the intesinal flora and make you very uncomfortable.

For some reason the food you eat is fermenting and /or putrifying in your gut causing the gas and bloating. If your bile system is clogged up with bile stones it disturbs the digestion especially if the clogged bile duct has also stopped up the pancreatic duct. There are many methods of unclogging the bile system before it becomes critical. See the Liver Flush Support Forum for more on this.

Most of us with gas/bloating problems find they have to do several different procedures before we get better. We do parasite programs, kidney cleanses, Liver Flushes and much more.
