ya might want to edit this sentence, as it appears incomplete, lacking a direct object in the last clause:

Also, regarding this statement:

"The unnatural form of fluoride added our municipal water supplies and is sodium fluoride - a chemical by-product of aluminum, steel, cement, phosphate, and nuclear weapons manufacturing."

I would disagree, since the "fluoride" that is added to municipal water supplies is not NaF, but rather hexafluorosilicate anion, which exhibits chemical behavior that is far from that of F-.

Thus, if one believes they are after F- when in fact the species present is SiF6--, they may be led to wrongfully believe they've eliminated F, while in truth its still in the system present as SiF6--.


IMO, one needs to acknolwedge the presence of SiF6 species, before it can be effectively dealt with, as methods for its removal are different than methods used to eliminate straight F. Otherwise, it can be likened to Don Quixote chasing windmills.
