Re: Apple cider alternatives?

While I am not a complete fan of Andreas Moritz' flush, he does say that for people who cannot consume all that apple juice, they can use 1-2 T. of ACV 4X per day. That is Apple Cider Vinegar.

For people with a basic knowledge of Trad. chinese medicine, they will know that this may be hard on the stomach. Adding a bit of honey to the drink will surely help, not to mention making it tastier.

You are so right, pio. Everyone has different needs. There is a vast difference between people (like yourself) whose liver has borderline shut down and those who, while having bad symptoms, still suffer "only" from liver stagnation. I have the latter condition. It is surely not as dangerous as what you and other have suffered with.

I don't have any chamo. in my garden this year, so I buy the dried, and make the sign of the cross over it that its imperfection might not affect me.

Let us all keep in mind that we are talking about medicines, here, used temporarily only. It is hard to say that apple juice or chamo tea or ortho phos or ACV are successful or not because the lack of stones, as we all know, is not a sign of anything. There's no bad flush just because there was no stones.

As to long-term herbs, I'd say nettles might be a good bet, both cooked fresh as well as tea in the winter.
