Re: How to use Lugol's Iodine, please help
Hello Mary,
I just saw this post many days later. Like Spudlydoo recommends, I would head over to the
Iodine Supplementation Forum,
//www.curezone.org/forums/f.asp?f=815
and study.
My sweetie has several nodules in her thyroid we discovered. One of the size that causes concern. When we first learned of this, she went through a series of tests from biopsy to ultrasounds and MRIs, I advanced her intake of
Iodine (in the form of Lugols,
SSKI and Magnascence which you can read about in the other forum).
Because of prior medical history, we have to move cautiously with her. So after the first diagnosis, we punched intake up, which includes important associated supplements. 2 1/2 months later she had a follow up which included ultra sounds to look for changes. There were. (knock wood knock on wood knock on wood as I am superstitious about some things) 5 of the 6 nodules had shrunk.
She is due for another checkup, now several months later. So we will learn more. Short of it is... I would study the other forum to learn how to utilize the proper forms of iodine, and how it is possible to create care for the thyroid which includes addressing nodules.
This of course does not supercede the of following a doctor's primary care too. But this knowledge is power. I'd dig in and learn, and apply these ideas.
Am just following up on Spudlydoo's recommendation...
