Garlic may be stuck in vagina!
Please can you give me some advice? I have looked around but haven't found the exact answer.
Yesterday I put a garlic clove in my vagina to treat pretty early stage of thrush. After an hour I tried to reach it and realised I couldn't find it. Then I don't know if it fell out while straining on the toilet (sorry to be graphic). I don't think it did but it may have done.
I can't feel it up there and I've tried the advice to get it out. That is, squatting down low and pushing hard, then trying to hook with a finger. I've tried lying on my back with my legs open and up, to shorten the vaginal passage. I felt up to my cervix and it felt like a lump the other side of flesh that may be garlic behind it or may not. I'm aware that it can't go through the cervix. But behind a final corner maybe? Is it called the fornix?
I can't feel it, so maybe it has gone. Should I just carry on as normal? What would happen if it is high up there - would it definitely come down eventually or not? Would it cause damage if left? How many days would it be ok for it be there?
Thanks for your help,
P.s. The thrush has seemed to have cleared up, and also I would next time thread the garlic first so I can easily pull it out.. if there is a next time.
