Re: First time here and scared to death!

No I don't have anyone to talk to. I can't share with my ex, because he's my ex. I am not in town enough to get to a support group on a regular basis. This is the first forum that I've ever shared on. I am a binge drinker and have been detoxing with Dandalion Root, Gaba and Liver Cleanse for the last 3 days. Apart from the physical, it is the emotional attachment I've developed over the years. It comforted me when I was lonely, sad and stressed. Now, I am confronted with facing these emotions without support. My only solace right now is my running, which has at least kept me checked in. I have to attend a sales meeting in two weeks, where everyone will be drinking!! I printed up something funny about the 5 stages of drinking and sobering up. Hopefully it will remind me how stupid and downright pathetic I look while drunk. I can't make deals with my self anymore either, i.e. only 1 glass of wine, only on Saturdays, only, blah, blah, blah.....

While not a state run prison, a prison nonetheless..... Any other suggestions on the detoxing front?! Would love to hear!!
