Neanderthal Genome Shows Evolution; Humans interbred with Neanderthals

That link to the article explaining how they found Neanderthal genes in humans.

It shows that humans left South Africa, then mixed with Neandrathals in the North of Africa. Only those Africans left behind avoided the contamination with Neandrathal genes.

What it says about evolution is that evolutionary processes are real. There is no way modern humans could have Neanderthal genes in us other than by interbreeding {you horn dogs you!} and combining genes. So it happens.

This is another in a long and unbroken line of scientific evidences showing that evolution is real.

It could be that "creation" occured sometime BEFORE we evolved, but certainly our present form is one that has undergone evolution.

If we were a "perfect God-given creature" at some point, we are not that way now [because evolutionary changes have changed us into something different than that original form]. At best, God put us on Earth 200,000 years ago and then we mixed with allready existing creatures [which I doubt].


It also tells us is that people who have held bigoted ideas about Africans being genetically inferior to whites were all wrong - it is only the Africans who did NOT interbreed with Neanderthals!!

I am not sure what creationists believe - is evolution occurring in humans, but just not for them? Or is evolution used in the way God uses nature in so many ways? Or are humans created by intelligent design, but then later evolved away from that design? Or are humans truly in the form God designed, which is utterly and possibly fatally flawed, which indicates a flaw in God? {HA haaaa}

PS - there is probably no God, I just use the term "God" to relate to the questions at hand. Live your life and be happy. Science is real, except when it is abused to conform to pre-existing beliefs.
