Re: Homemade Kefir - Made Wrong?

HI there. I am currently having a similar experience. I threw out the first batch of kefir i made as it was just to bring them back to life. The second batch I left for 12 hours, it hadn't separated but thickened a fair bit after straining and being left in the fridge for a couple of days. Anyway, I drank a small glass of it and shortly after began to feel dizzy a foggy. Still felt dizzy and weird the next day but kept drinking it. The last two days I have been fairly out-of-it and tired and panicky. My bowel has been doing a lot of gurgling and my belly a lot of swelling and I have been very very tired. I was walking to work today and my stomach felt very swollen and acidic then I had a panic attack and had to turn on my heel and go home again. I feel that I just drank too much too fast and that has either cause confusion in my body and/or die-off. I am going to stick with it though and drink loads of water and alkalize my body. I think my being very acidic is part of the reason my body is reacting quite adversely. But if you are going to continue I would have breaks. i.e. 3 days on 3 days off. I hope you feel better soon.
