Re: Help with 1.5yr olds ear infection

Update:

He has slept through the night for the second night in a row, good sign.

I have been filling his ears twice a day (morning & night), and giving between 1-2tsp orally (that's as much as he will stand to drink) once a day. Due to my work schedule he is asleep when I get home so I cant give him any orally in the evenings. I have to do his ears when he is sleeping as he will not stand it awake. So Im not sure how long the CS actually stays up against his eardrum. All of this is with Mesosilver CS.

I even got a "seems to be working" from my resistant wife, another good sign :)

A couple questions:

1. How long should I continue this? I planned to do it through the week.

2. In the AM I get him to drink as much as I can (forget about him holding it under his tongue) as soon as possible after he wakes up. He usually is very hungry and wants a bottle right away. So he gets milk about 3-5 mins after ingesting the CS. Any problem with that?
