I noticed a difference between the graters and my plates. When I did the polarity switches with the graters, I could feel tingles or electricity in my feet when I first put them in the water but not when I change polarities with the plates even though my bath water is still having the same scum, etc.
Also, what is the price difference between the one I now use and the SCM 600 switch selectable? From your description it sounds like it's more powerful.
