 Hormone replacement therapies, including the so-called bioidenticals are not the way to go since they do have numerous side effects, including shutting down the body's own hormone production. Progesterone in particular is extremely dangerous to fool with since it can trigger a number of cancers, cause hyperagression and other problems. You may want to read through these threads:

Even with a total hysterectomy the adrenals and fat cells still produce estrogens, progesterone and testosterone. The adrenals are the primary source though. Therefore supporting the adrenals is a very important start:

The rest basically involves cleansing the liver with bitters for hormone regulation, B vitamins to help the liver break down the hormones, fibers to build up the flora that break down the hormone metabolites and more phytoestrogens in the diet.
