Any helpfull adv for living with Costochonditis?

Hi,
Please help, i'm at the end of my teather regarding this.
I have had this condition for approx 3 years now! the first year wasn't that bad, it was more of an ache than a pain but for the last 2 years its got worse. I had a cortasone injection a couple of days a go and was told not to take any mediaction for 3 days just to see if it kept the pain at bay, unfortunate for me i had to have pain reliefe less than 48 hrs after. I was realy hoping this would work.

Any tips or advice on how to cope with this would be greatly apprechiated.

P.S i am a 28 year old mum with 2 young boys and dread the thought of having this for another 50 odd years or so...... Tweet
