Dosage Catch 22 and update
I just proved to myself that
Iodine is both causing detox and keeping a lung infection at bay.
In early February at 50mg of Iodoral I was feeling better but still felt like I was fighting something and then when I went up to 100mg of Iodoral I definitely felt better more of the time but started having some pressure in my kidneys and liver area as well as having detox symptoms....some zits, metal mouth, hot flashes, brain fog, energy and mood swings, muscle stuff, pressure in the head.
Then I got some
SSKI from Trapper and raised my dosage too quick: the second dose I did 1gram and my kidneys freaked out and my low back seized up. Two weeks later after taking 9 drops of
SSKI my mid back seized up....at least it went higher up, right? I figure I am going through vertically progressive detox...sorry I am a structural bodyworker and I have a geeky sense of humor sometimes. Most of time on
SSKI not too much signs of this lung infection.
Anyway, I got frustrated and went back on Iodoral seeing if my kidneys might do better, and after awhile on 50mg the lung infection stuff got quite a bit stronger than it had been before, coughing, mostly dry but a little yucky tasting phlegm, low energy like I was going to get sick.
So today I took 50 mg of Iodoral, then by mid afternoon I realized I needed to up the dose so I took 3 drops of sski and within an hour or two started feeling the lung infection easing and also some pressure in my kidneys. Two hours later took one more drop of sski and felt better energy wise and also more pressure in the kidneys, which also seems to have created some knee weakness.
So I feel frustated that I can't nuke this infection with some high sski dosages like I read High on Water's husband was able to do, but happy that I am feeling better and also concerned that the kidneys are being challenged.
It is an interesting line to be walking......
It is also interesting that when I first starting taking
Iodine two years ago, I felt great for two weeks and then I started having the feeling that I was going to get sick but it would never quite land. So I kept playing with dosing and on and off and when off felt better but then eventually felt the yuck whether on or off and pretty much gave the
Iodine a rest and played with CS last year.
Now it is almost 3 months back on Iodine and I am better educated so i am staying on it.
Something has shifted in the past week and it seems I am able to use more Magnesium oil without causing mid back or right knee to seize up.
What a ride.........
Any comments from you beautiful people out there?
