pill bugs/roly polys burrowing into strawberries!

We have pill bugs/roly polys everywhere in our garden. Last year, I found them burrowing into my beets. This year, they are burrowing into the strawberries. How do we get rid of them or keep them in check better?

I know some people say they are beneficial or neutral, but where I live, they are definitely pests in the garden!!!
