Re: Can Iodine supplementation be harsh on kidneys?

I believe not; the protocol seems fine.
My mother had quite severe kidney problems; and avoided salt for years. I made her take salt again and also some iodine, yes she had a bit of pain in the kidneys; but her long time illness became way better (lupus like symptoms, cyst on kidney.) Took some time though, as she never took the full protocol.

Just make sure the salt is of best quality, and that he drinks plenty of clean water.
I would up the Selenium to 400 mcg; the methionine form.
