I agree the symptoms are very like thyroid symptoms. I believe the thyroid is linked to everything. It controls so much. While I was on the mirena my thyroid kept going up and down just about every couple/few months and my Dr. never sent me to an endo. just kept adjusting meds. Prior to that (after it was destroyed) the dose had never changed. (15 yrs.) I got tired of the flip flopping and called an endo on my own and then they found the growth.
I do believe being all related: the Mirena threw my system into some other kind of mode. But why? Is it the silicone or the chemical? I hope one day there will be clear answers for all of us. Tweet
